Why Choose a PRP Facial?

What is PRP?

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) uses your own blood to stimulate new collagen growth in the skin. This is a specialized service that is unique to each patient. PRP facial services are safe and effective treatments to help your body naturally reverse the look of aging. PRP Facialis a medical procedure performed by our in-house nurse Lynette Wohlgemuth, NP.

What to Expect

A small amount of blood is taken from your arm, which is the equivalent of about two teaspoons. The blood is then centrifuged to separate the rich plasma from the red and white blood cells. It is applied to your face, then microneedled to push the PRP deeper into the dermal skin layers. Side effects can include puffy skin, mild itchiness for a day or two, and slight bruising around the eyes. Most patients are able to return to their regular activities and skin care routines the next day. ***This treatment requires the application of a topical anesthetic to ensure you are comfortable throughout the treatment.
